    • Jim Godin successfully defended his clients against two Plaintiffs claiming personal injury following a motor vehicle accident. At the trial, conducted in Montgomery County, Defendants conceded fault, but contested the nature and extent of the Plaintiffs' injuries and whether the alleged injuries resulted in a serious impairment of a body function. Plaintiff's presented expert medical testimony that the Plaintiffs' sustained muscle and nerve injuries in the accident that necessitated more than one year of treatment. Mr. Godin retained a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who opined the injuries were soft tissue in nature and resolved within six to eight weeks. After a deliberation that lasted one hour, the Jury found neither Plaintiff sustained a serious impairment of a body function and awarded no monetary damages for pain and suffering.
